Full Fun

2025-07-20

Another full week of fun. I went to the pool with my friends, Dad and I rode our bikes every day, we saw some cool things, went to a talk at the museum, read some good books, watched some good shows.

Monday was the pool. We had to leave a little early because it was closed due to some...contamination. Ewww.

At the pool with Eva, Jonathan, Billy, and Bingham.

Dad got to see Lily this week.

Wednesday afternoon Anthony came over to play video games and LEGO, but we forgot to get pictures. We had fun. The plan is for him to come again next week.

I also went to the park with some other friends on Thursday.

Goofing around with Jonathan, Nick, and Eva.

On our evening ride, we spotted something different down by the levee.

This ship is huge!

We talked to this guy - he was on the cruise. We mailed a letter for him.

The medieval museum across the river had a talk on Saturday about women in warfare, so we went to listen. Eva and her mom met us there. It was exciting - we have not been for a while and I forgot how many amazing things the museum has.

This is my favorite piece - a helmet like the knights would have worn at the Battle of Agincourt.

These are called "grotesque" helmets. They look silly.

Talking to one of the docents.

Looking at the Roman collection with Eva.

Asking more questions.

At the talk - which was very good. I learned a lot of new things.

Although we had already gone on a ride, Dad went out again on his own and took a couple pictures of the sunset as he was coming home.

Sunset from the wagon bridge.

Sunday morning Dad and I went for a long ride. We rode 12 miles! Mom and Dad went for a walk later in the morning and met Eden, and her people, Debbie and Bob. Eden is the pup who looks like Duke.

Eden and Debbie.

Eden likes her belly rubbed - just like Duke did.

This week I was still reading The Never-ending Story, but I am almost done. It's a great book - one of my favorites of all the ones I have read. Dad and I started reading The Te of Piglet, the companion to the Tao of Pooh. I also started listening to Patrick O'Brian's Master and Commander, a book that has so many things I love: the British Navy, the Age of Sail, and the Napoleonic Wars.

This week we watched Big Bang Theory and we finished Ewan and Charley's tour of Europe, Long Way Home - we all really liked it but wanted more. Sunday night we watched The Dig, a movie about the discovery of an Anglo-Saxon ship at Sutton Hoo at the beginning of World War II - it was a really good movie.

And that was my week! Take care!

One more thing...

After everyone got to see my huge Clone Wars battle, I took it down. But before that, I took some more pictures so I can remember it.

Th-th-th-that's all folks!
