Home Week

2025-07-13

Home this week, doing normal things like the pool, the park, bike rides, and watching the Tour de France. We celebrated Mom's birthday, and I got to meet a new dog, Lily.

At the pool with Jonathan, Caroline, and Dawn.

At the creek with Jonathan, Eva, Catherine, and Caroline.

Phoebe, Jonathan, Eva, Nick, and me.

Jonathan found a snake!

On Thursday I went to the orthodontist, and afterward I got to go see Neil's new pup Lily for the first time.

Lily is so sweet!

Hug for Grandma Wynne.

Friday was Mom's birthday - we had pizza and started watching the new series from Ewan and Charlie, Long Way Home. It is really good! We are all happy they took another trip for us to watch.

This week I also worked on a LEGO battle between the Republic and the Separatists. I have been waiting years to collect enough minifigs and machines to make it - and now I have done it!

My LEGO build from this week.

Showing my work to GG and Grandpa Kevin.

Ahsoka versus Ventriss.

Anakin versus Count Dooku.

GG and Grandpa Kevin came over on Saturday to see Mom for her birthday and get some ice cream.

Showing GG the rebel base.

Plo Koon and the Wolfpack.

Sunday I built a new set, one I bought during Cousin Camp.

My newest set: B1 Battle Droid on a STAP.

This week I was still reading The Never-ending Story, and Dad and I read The Tao of Pooh by Benjamin Hoff.

Our viewing this week was: Three Kings, a movie about the first Gulf War; Emma (the 2020 version) based on the Jane Austen novel; Clueless, which is a modern-day retelling of Emma that made Dad feel really old because it came out the year he graduated from high school - 30 years ago!; a few episodes of Big Bang Theory, and the aforementioned Long Way Home series about Ewan McGregor and Charlie Boorman going on a motorcycle adventure. And Dad and I watched the fourth season of Clarkson's Farm.

And that was my week! Take care!
