Sorting and Building

2025-04-27

Another week of school and LEGO sorting. Mom worked on sorting, I worked on sorting, Dad worked on sorting...we did a lot of sorting. But we are making progress. I also did some building.

The original NCC-1701 Enterprise, with Kirk and Spock, and a smaller version of the ship. An alt build of the midi-scale Millennium Falcon.

The Firefly-class ship Serenity, also built from the midi-scale Millennium Falcon.

A Cardassian Galor-class ship made with the scraps from the Serenity build.

On Thursday we went to BAM to pick our bag of bricks for the month. I also bought a few minifigs. Mom and Dad scoured the brick pit, and I spent most of my time talking to Sean about all things LEGO. We stopped to see Loki on the way home.

An old LEGO piece we found - made between 1954 and 1971 - so it's older than Dad and maybe as old as Grandma Wynne!

Mom in the brick pit.

Me and Loki.

Our bag of free bricks for the month (forgot to take a picture at BAM).

Another version - Dad couldn't decide which one to use.

Friday afternoon I went to Jonathan's to hang out and talk LEGO. I got to see the cats, play with the piano, and discuss Star Wars, LEGO, and Star Wars LEGO.

Hanging out at Jonathan's house.

Jonathan's space station.

Back home, I hadn't had enough Star Wars, so I started reading about it, too.

Reading the Star Wars book I rediscovered this week - so many new things to learn about a galaxy far, far away.

This weekend I was getting tired of sorting, so I started playing with the LEGO that are already organized.

There was a bin of light gray parts just sitting on the table, so I built this.

Working on a bunker for my Yavin-4 display.

Looks good so far. But is needs something....

The rocks look good, but it is still not done.

Now it's finished. And up front is my alt build B-wing I made from Ahsoka's T6 Shuttle.

The new LEGO storage is looking good.

Still a work in progress, though.

Dad and I went on a bike rides Saturday and on Sunday. On Sunday we got Blizzards at DQ on our way around the lakes - thanks GG and Grandpa Kevin for the gift card! All we watched this week was The Big Bang Theory because we were putting in so much time sorting LEGO. I am reading another book in the Poppy series, and Dad and I are still working on reading Lamb.

And that was my week! Take care!
