Spring is really here - we've been out playing catch in the driveway and we even watched a couple of spring training games on television. The college teams are playing, too, but we haven't made it to a game yet.
This week we started our next six-week section of learning and we are on a new schedule to help things run smoother. Mom worked hard and it really paid off - we had a good week and we got everything done with time to spare.
This is what the white board looks like when Mom and I do some review of what I've learned.
The review board for Maryland, with a little review of the other six states we've done so far.
This week I finished a big project: I finally finished reading all of the Bone books to Dad.
Reading the last one.
Here's the pile of of all nine books.
And here are some pictures of me playing catch with Dad in the driveway.
I also had some playtime - I worked on building LEGO, I created castles and kingdoms with my Magnatiles, and I did a lot of coloring of maps and flags.
A little LEGO display in my room.
Saturday was fun because...
...Mom said if I made my bed in the morning...
...she would make waffles for breakfast!
Yum!
After breakfast we went to see Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne. Daddy cut my hair while we were there, and then we went to the flag store and I bought some little flags. We'll be going back so I can get some more!
My new collection of flags.
Sunday we stayed home, except for a trip to Target. We played catch for a while. Dad finished reading Percy Jackson and the Lightening Thief to me, we read some from my US history book, and we watched the Aerial America episode for South Carolina, which is our state for next week. The episode showed Fort Sumter and Patriot's Point - two of the places we went on our trip last year.
Oh, and I did some "yard work."
Digging a hole. Because I can.
And that was my week. Stay safe!
