There was a lot going on this week! We did learning activities every day - studying new things and reviewing old things. I even got to see a bit of a baseball game as part of gym class (Dad and I rode our bikes over to the college baseball field). And I continued to work on learning all of the flags of the world - which isn't an assignment, I decided to do it on my own.
Learning with Mom - reviewing some of the historical people we have studied.
Watching an inning of baseball on a cold, windy day.
More learning.
If anyone was wondering how often I use those books I got for Christmas and my birthday, the answer is: every day.
Part of my display of flags I made.
This week I went to my new occupational therapy sessions. Kate is the lady who is helping me. We get to be in a new part of the building and play with lots of cool things.
Checking out the new offices where I see my doctors.
Working my way through the obstacle course at occupational therapy.
Another exercise at OT - Kate made me work hard but it was fun!
Dad was off on Thursday because we had my appointment and he had to get his second COVID vaccination (so did Mom). And that meant we got to watch Opening Day baseball after everything was done!
Dad was also off on Friday so we could go see Bob, who just came back from Florida. We spent some time visiting with him, and with Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al.
Begging for a snack - or to go to the flag store.
Me and Bob.
After seeing Bob, we went to the flag store because, as Dad says, "my money was burning a hole in my pocket." I bought more little flags and visited with Lee at his shop.
When we were done at the flag store, we went to see GG and Grandpa Kevin. They had some Easter presents for me from them, and from Auntie Kara and Uncle Josh. I also got to see Max and Abby.
Would you look at this enormous Easter basket?
We stopped at the dog park to see if Indy was there - but he wasn't. Then we stopped to pick up our stuff and we went home to show Mom all the new flags I bought, and all my Easter gifts.
I got a gift certificate to the flag store!
My Easter stuff - thanks everyone!
Saturday we went back to the flag store so I could spend that gift certificate. And then on Sunday, we all watched Avatar (not the one with Ang, the one with the Na'vi). Dad and I went out to hit some baseballs, and then we watched a baseball game.
Getting some batting practice.
And that was my week. Take care!
