Well, it's been a year since we got back from our visit with Bob in Florida. Mom was sick, maybe with COVID-19, and no one knew what was going to happen next.
It's been a strange year. Probably for you, too.
But, strange or not, this week was Spring Break for me. The last couple of weeks of learning have been a little rough, so we were all glad for a break. Of course, we didn't go anywhere this year, even though people are allowed to go to Spring Training games. We stayed home. Mom and I watched some Dr. Who. Dad and I played catch. But mostly we just enjoyed not having much to do. Well, I did. Mom still had to take care of the house and Dad still had to go to work.
The biggest excitement was getting our window replaced. But that only took the guys about ten minutes, so it was over pretty fast. Good thing the weather was nice.
There's a hole in our house.
Looking out the window hole.
I spent a lot of time playing with board games this week. Mostly I used the maps from Axis and Allies and Ticket To Ride to set up armies and battles.
Setting up World War II at my desk.
And that's all I have for this week. I hope everyone is safe and enjoyed the first taste of spring. Take care!
