Recovery Week

After all the commotion of last week, I needed a little down time. Without all the extra things to do, I've was able to get up early every day to spend more time with Daddy before breakfast.

As for fun, I only went to two parties at school this week - one with my new teacher, Cassie, and one with Mommy and the other kids whose parents are students. Both times I got to play with my friends while Mommy and Daddy were talking.

Other than that, I took it easy. I finally got a new bucket for my skid loader (thanks, Mommy!), and it came with something exciting: a catalog of all the new toys from Bruder!

I can only get one or two? Awww....

I spent a lot of time playing with my trucks and my blocks this week since the skid loader was able to scoop and lift things again.

On Sunday Grandma Wynne, Grandpa Al, and Uncle Bill came over for the day. I played with my toys and showed Bill my LEGO and my trucks. While I was doing that, Daddy and Grandpa installed a ceiling fan in my room! It is so cool. I even got to help put some pieces on that looked like my LEGO tires.

After they finished my fan, Daddy and Grandpa put a new one in Mommy and Daddy's room. I played some more and watched Thomas and Friends after supper -- and that was it for the week.
