Game Night and the Zoo

I had a good week at school and home. Just one bump on the head from tipping my bike over going around a corner.

Friday night we had game night - and I got to play the first game! We played the matching game that Daddy and I have been playing this week.

After I went to bed they played with LEGO!

Saturday morning I went to the zoo with Daddy, Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al. The weather was beautiful and the animals were much more active than usual - and they were out where they were easy to see. And there were babies! Baby porcupine, baby wolves, baby lynx, and baby snow monkeys - so many we didn't even get pictures of all of them. The grizzly bears were swimming and playing in their pool, right up by the glass - they were so much fun to watch!

For the first time ever on one of my visits a beaver was actually out and swimming in his pool!

There were some new wolf pups, too! But they were a little shy about coming close to the camera.

The first time we went to the tiger lair the tiger was sleeping. The second time he was walking back and forth in front of the glass.

Sunday morning I watched cartoons with Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne. After lunch we went visiting, first to see Great-grandma Dorothy in her tower. Auntie Diane and Uncle Bill were there as well.

Second we went to see Great-grandpa Les and Great-grandma Muriel. We had a nice visit. Daddy only let me take out one box of LEGO, so I didn't have too much to clean up when it was time to go.

After I said goodbye to Great-grandpa Les and Great-grandma Muriel, Daddy and Grandpa Al took me out for supper. I had french toast and mashed potatoes. Then we went back to Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's house until it was time to go home.
