Christmas 1-2-3

2013-12-29

As promised, I have a few Christmas pictures to share. I didn't have a good picture of me with every present, so I can't give visual inventory of all the great toys and books and clothes I unwrapped - but they will be showing up on the blog in the weeks to come.

So let's get started:

Christmas Eve day I went to visit Great-grandma Dorothy for little while.

Me and Great-grandma Dorothy.

Christmas #1

We spent Christmas Eve night at Great-grandma Darlene's house - and Uncle Todd, LuzMaria, and Brandon showed up to surprise everyone! I met Daddy's cousin Sheryl and her son Brandon for the first time, too. I had fun playing with Max, Gunnar, Yulia, and Vincent. And of course, I got to open a lot of presents!

(It was really warm in the house, that's why I have my shirt off in a lot of the pictures. Just like my first Christmas.)

Me and Mommy.

Opening my first present of the week.

The plane! The plane!

Whew! This is a lot of work!

Resting with Mommy.

Uncles Bob and David.

I slept on the way back to Grandma and Grandpa's house, but I heard later the drive was a little less than relaxing with all the blowing and drifting snow.

Christmas #2

Christmas Day we went to Great-grandpa Les and Great-grandma Muriel's house. Nancy and Michael were there, and Grandpa Kevin, Grandma Gail, Uncle Josh, Auntie Kara, Little Miss Freya.

The grown-ups did White Elephant gifts, and I got to keep GG's - it was two die-cast vehicles: Lightning McQueen and Mater. You can see me clutching them in the first picture.

Another day, another pile of presents.

Another day, another family to visit.

Can I start opening yet?

Getting some help from Mommy.

Excited to get some more LEGO.

My new fire truck.

Even more LEGO.

Josh and Little Miss Freya.

Auntie Kara laughing at the funny box Mommy put one of Freya's presents in.

Opening one of the many awesome books that were under the tree for me this year.

Christmas #3

We had a few days between Christmas #2 and #3, and Mommy and I both managed to get sick.

Christmas #3 was at a community center with Grandpa Al's family. Daddy ate a lot of cookies. A lot of cookies (don't tell Mommy).

I was the only kid at this Christmas, so I got all the attention. And almost all of the presents. And I got to open my gifts on the dance floor!

What is it? It looks like a...tractor!

Somebody help me get it out of the box!

Guess what? More LEGO.

Another cool book.

More blocks!

More LEGO.

More blocks. (There seems to be a theme here.)

Opening my Jingle card. Jingle Barks a song when I open it.

Dancing with my Jingle card.

Great-grandma giving Pooh Bear a hug.

Me with Great-grandma and Cousin Pete.

Without a doubt, the coolest kid at the Christmas party.

And now that I've covered all three Christmas celebrations, I need to say one big THANK YOU! to everyone for spending time with me and getting their picture taken and giving me cool stuff.

I have an awesome family and I hope everyone has a Happy New Year! See you in 2014!
