Cousin Camp

This week was Cousin Camp - which means Freya came to stay with us. But before that started, I went swimming with Jonathan and Kellan.

And then we picked up Freya and got Cousin Camp started. First stop: get some snacks.

We played a lot of Switch, and we watched some movies: Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl, The Minecraft Movie, The Sea Beast, and Dog Man. We also watched Legend of Zelda videos on YouTube and rediscovered Grizzly and the Lemmings. We also went swimming twice and played with LEGO.

Sunday morning we went to visit Atticus and August on the little farm where their new house will be. We walked around and looked at the goats, chickens, and yaks. We also saw where the new house is being built and had a couple of short rides on the four-wheeler. We had fun, but it was really hot and muggy.

After we left the farm, we played at the house for a bit until it was time for Freya and Mom to go to see Josh Bell in concert.

For reading this week I am still working on The Never-Ending Story, and Dad and I started reading The Tao of Pooh. We also watched Galippoli, which was really good and really sad. I have heard a lot about it from one of my history podcasts, so it was great to finally see the movie..
