This week we did school as usual, but it was a short week. I finished reading Poppy and started reading Calvin and Hobbes. On Wednesday I went to Jonathan's house to see his massive LEGO set-up.

I worked on a smaller display at home with my new Umbaran tank.

On Thursday we did Recess - the weather was very nice.

We had a lot of fun playing with rope.

And after Recess, I got a ride to Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's house for a long weekend.

Mom and Dad had a project to work on: painting the living room and dining room and replacing all the baseboard, light switches, and outlets (all of which were in rough shape).

Dad transferred my height markings from the wall to a board.

Getting the last bit of floor protection down.

The living room is now sterling silver.

And the dining room is Blue Fjord.

We will post more pictures once the furniture gets put back in place. And there will be more painting to come - the entryways, the bedrooms, and the kitchen are all scheduled for the same treatment.
