Mom was sick this week. She even went to see the doctor and got some medicine. I did school on my own as much as I could, and I spent extra time reading. I finished Robert Heinlein's Tunnel in the Sky and started Sherman Alexie's The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian. Dad and I watched Castle in the Sky and Uncharted, and Ninjago: Dragons Rising this week.
We did not actually buy any more LEGO. I did play with a lot of the new stuff we got, and built several sets - the ARC-170, Home One, and the Acclimator. But mostly I played with my pirates. I set up the Barracuda Bay ship to be an imperial ship at the Eldorado Fortress, and my Creator pirate ships are at the pirate cove. Here are a few pictures:
I took off the pirate flags and filled the ship with my imperial sailor minifigs.

This is the whole layout so far.
We stayed home this weekend, hanging out at the house. Dad and I went for some walks and we started reading Where the Red Fern Grows. On Saturday and Sunday we all watched The Big Year and Groundhog Day together. Mom was feeling better and she made cookies for us Sunday night!
