Christmas!

Monday

I was enjoying another day of freedom from school, Mom was finishing baking and packing up treats, and Dad took the day off to help out and get some other things done around the house. And then we had some guests. Nick and Jessica brought over their pups for a visit! And Jonathan, Caroline, and Ned came by so Jonathan and I could exchange gifts.

Tuesday

We were all up early, so we packed the car full of presents and headed to Freya's house. We played some Zelda, watched Christmas Vacation with Grandpa Kevin, and played some games. Dad and Josh brought Great-grandma Muriel over so she could join us for Christmas. We had pizza for lunch and Mom got the food and snacks ready for supper while people were at church. We took a lot of pictures during the course of the day, so instead of having you scroll through them all, we made a slideshow.

Wednesday

We had breakfast at the hotel and then went back to Freya's house to open Santa presents. We tried to prank Kara by putting her coffee cup in JELL-O, but it did not go as planned. Although we did surprise her. We also played BINGO and had a puzzle contest.

Thursday

Another hotel breakfast and then I waited a bit and went swimming in the hotel pool with Freya, Josh, and Kara. After that we had second breakfast and visited some more with GG, Kevin, and Muriel. Then we packed up, checked out of the hotel, and drove to Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's, where I opened their presents, and one from Bob (a big book on military history). And then we drove home and unloaded the car.

Friday

A quiet day. We stayed home, I built some of my new LEGO sets, and we started watching Dark Matter and Ted Lasso. I am not so sure about Dark Matter but I love Ted Lasso.

Saturday

A little less quiet day. Mom and Dad went grocery shopping, and in the afternoon Jonathan and Caroline came over to visit for a while. Jonathan and I played with LEGO. Most of the time Jonathan worked on a mountain base with a landing pad. It was amazing.
