Another great week of school is done. I am really enjoying having the desk in Mom and Dad's room - it is my new favorite place to work. I am currently reading The Dark Frigate on my own, which is really fun. Adventure on the high seas! And Dad and I are still reading Sophie's World which is still really interesting, just a little slower because philosophy is complicated.
This week was quieter than the last few. We just met Nick at the park one day, otherwise we have been home and I have been working on some new LEGO projects.
At the park with Nick.
A new battle scene.
Another battle - this one is set on Geonosis.
Saturday morning we started another cleaning project. We emptied the kitchen!
Mom has been wanting to do this for a long time.
The rest of the house was not so clean...
We made a run up to IKEA to get some things to help reorganize, and since it was kind of on the way home we stopped at a Bricks and Minifigs. Rowan was working, so I was able to talk to him for a little bit. And I got to try the LEGO Loop roller coaster. I also bought a Geonosian minifigure with wings, and another imperial officer. Oh, and we listened to The Adventures of Tom Sawyer on the drive. It's a funny book.
I've always wanted to try this!
You can see the cars going through the tall loop.
Back home, Dad started building shelves and Mom started filling them.
Our new pantry, next to the second fridge.
We were still busy on Sunday reorganizing things, going through all of our clothes, fixing up Mom and Dad's closet. Dad was too busy to take pictures, so maybe we will have some next week. But the house is all clean and tidy now - you'll just have to take my word for it. Mom is really happy she managed to let go of some kitchen items she no longer needed and that all of her kitchen stuff is neatly put away upstairs - none of it is hiding in tubs in the basement anymore. And I am happy too - that means we have more room for LEGO!
And that was my week. Take care!
