Today was a driving day. We left Rutland, Vermont and drove across New Hampshire to Ellsworth, Maine. We took a lot of backroads again, and the Kancamagus Highway through White Mountain National Forest. It was another pretty drive on a very nice day.
It was very foggy when we set out this morning.
New Hampshire snuck up on us, so the picture is a little blurry.
We crossed this river more times than I could count.
The only wildlife we saw.
On the Kancamagus Highway.
Into the White Mountain National Forest.
A view from the pass.
Another view.
And one with me.
Dad tried a panorama.
The view from the other side of the pass.
A lake in Maine where we had lunch.
Me by the lake.
A lot of Maine looked like this.
And then there was this cool bridge we had to go over.
This is a seriously cool bridge.
We got to our hotel early - so extra time to rest today. Tomorrow we are going to Acadia National Park in the morning and then we drive down to Boston.
That's it for today - take care!
