Day 1: To the East Coast...of Wisconsin!

We are on our way! We left earlier than planned because Mom did such a good job planning and preparing.

This is the start.

Ready to go!

Dad is ready too!

No idea why this thing is here, but we got out to look at it anyway.

Our first real stop was a Bricks and Minifigs store in Fox Valley. I was so excited and it did not disappoint! We talked to both of the owners, who were very friendly and helpful. They even gave us a couple of special bricks from their grand opening in April.

After we got to the hotel in Marinette, Wisconsin, we went to get Culver's for supper. Then Dad and I went to see the lighthouse just across the border in Menominee, Michigan.

It's a beautiful night.

And we were back in the room before dark...after another stop at Culver's to get some dessert. Come back tomorrow to see what happens next!
