School started this week. I was not ready for summer to be over.
So excited to get back to school.
See how much I love math?
Time for a break.
Here are some pictures of LEGO projects I have been working on:
Converting my Viking ship to Naglfar - the ship of the dead.
Setting up Ahsoka with the 332nd clone troopers.
The castle: Mom sorted the pieces, and Dad and I built together.
It was too hot for Recess this week. On Wednesday it was 103 degrees, and the heat index was 115 degrees! We went outside for a couple minutes just to feel it. And on Thursday Jonathan and Caroline came over to get some of our many, many tomatoes. They didn't stay long - none of us wanted to be in the sun.
Finding some shade with Jonathan.
Mom and Caroline found some shade as well.
Friday was just school and playing at home. Saturday we did a practice pack for our trip to see if we were missing anything (just a few little things) and to find out if everything will fit (it will!). Good job, Mom!
On Sunday, Dad and I went to Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's. Grandma got a new computer, so Dad set it up for her, and I went to the dog park with Grandpa and Loki. I also had to go get my new glasses, which are much nicer than my old ones. And then we went home.
This week we watched: National Treasure, National Treasure 2, Glory, and Ace Ventura: Pet Detective. We also finished reading Neil Gaiman's retelling of the Norse myths - which was really good.
And that was my week - take care!
