And Summer Ends

We are starting school next week, so Summer vacation is over.

I actually started the week at Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's. I was supposed to come home for swimming on Monday, but it was too cold, so I was able to stay an extra night at their house. Grandpa brought me home Tuesday morning. Dad took the day off from work and Dad and Grandpa finished all of the trim work on the bathroom door...that's been waiting to be done since last August when the bathroom got remodeled.

This week I passed level two of swimming! I can jump off the diving board into the deep end and get back to the edge of the pool all by myself.

We also did swimming for Recess. It was kind of cold when we did - the temperature was only 70 degrees and the wind was blowing like crazy. But Jonathan still had a freeze pop.

Dad saw some Monarchs on campus.

We were supposed to go swimming again on Friday, but the forecast was for more smoke and bad air (which never ended up happening). But Dad took me back to Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's on Thursday night. I stayed until Sunday, when Grandpa Al brought me home.

Can you believe these two have been married almost 50 years?

I also went to see GG and Grandpa Kevin. We watched The Two Towers and I got to see Max and Abby.

And while I was away, Mom was working hard sorting LEGO so Dad and I can build one big castle out of the three Creator 31120: Medieval Castle sets I got for Christmas and my birthday a couple of years ago. We all laughed because she put the brown pieces in the brownie pans.
