Thanksgiving

This week was Thanksgiving, and we went to Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's house to celebrate. Hard to believe, but the last time we were with everyone for Thanksgiving was 2018 when it was at our house! We went over early so Mom could help set up. Kara, Josh, and Freya came down to join us, and GG came over, too. Grandpa Kevin was taking care of Max and Abby, who are both not feeling well. Otherwise, it was most of the usual suspects from Grandpa Al's family.

When it came time for pie, Josh mentioned there was a fun trick you can do with whipped cream that comes out of a can. He demonstrated it for us, and then Mom and Dad had a try.

This was a great day: family, lots of food, lots of dessert, football on the TV, kids playing the basement (me and Freya were down there playing Legend of Zeda: Breath of the Wild.)

On Friday we built our tree.

Mom made these while Dad and I were building the tree.

That was the exciting part of my week. We did not do LEGO Club or Recess due to the holiday, and other than seeing everyone and building the tree, I was playing video games and watching Doctor WHO with Mom.
