We had snow this week - snow to shovel with Dad, snow to play in at Recess, and snow to shovel for Grandpa Al. Mom was baking some of our favorites this week, to share at Recess and for our guests on Sunday. Of course we did school, and I worked on my History Day project - Mom and I started compiling my bibliography.
Guess what this means...
Stroopwafels!
Dad and I went to get some new boots after the first snow, since my old ones do not fit. My new boots are a size 9. A men's size 9.
New boots.
The new boots worked great to keep my feet warm and dry. And I am wearing Max's old coat - for now, anyway. I almost need a bigger size.
Recess in the snow!
More snow for Recess!
Me and Jonathan.
I went to see Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne on the weekend. And helped them by shoveling. I got to play with Loki. I did not get to see GG, Kevin, Abby, and Max because Abby was not feeling well.
Shoveling for Grandpa Al.
Sunday night JOnathan came over with his parents (Ned and Caroline) and we talked, played with LEGO, did some video games, and had a lightsaber battle. THe grown-ups played 7 Wonders and Ticket to Ride. Caroline won 7 Wonders, and Dad beat Mom by one point in Ticket to Ride. We also had brownies and chocolate chip cookies for dessert. They were de-lic-ious.
Lightsaber battle with Jonathan.
One with the actual lights on.
Just for fun: here is Dad in his 500 Ride reward sweatshirt from iFIT. He made it, even with being off the bike for almost two months with his bulging disks.
And that was my week. Take care!
