School started this week, so here's my picture in my "First Day of School" shirt.

Wait a minute...

...Okay, that's the right way up.

And Mom made almond sugar cookies!

This week we started Homeschool Recess - we did it Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday at three different parks and lots of other kids showed up. The weather was great, and it was a lot of fun.

Some of the toys for recess.

And I had to go to the dentist this week.

Not my favorite thing - but they are so nice at the dentist.

I also had my final appointment to check up on my broken leg from a year ago. I had so many appointments because the break was near the growth plate. Good news: I am all good to keep growing!

Me with Colton - we talked about my leg for like a minute, and spent the rest of the time talking about Star Wars.

This weekend was the big truck show - I went with Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne. Here are a few pictures from that.

I also went to the dog park to see all my furry friends.

Me with the usual suspects.

Mom came to get me on Sunday, but first she met her friend Maude and her daughter Bodhi. And then they came over to see me.

Playing with Bodhi and Tigger.

Bodhi really liked my stuffies.

Mixed in with all that was an early morning trip on Tuesday for Dad to have an MRI. His doctor called later in the day to talk about the results - two ruptured disks - and she said she was going to see about getting him an earlier appointment for a cortisone shot (he was scheduled to have one on October 27th). Half an hour later he got a call from a scheduler who said he could come in on Thursday to get the shot - it was obvious on the MRI that he couldn't wait. The shot took no time at all, and he started feeling better the next day. He's walking without a cane, he can stay on his feet for more than a few minutes, and he is even able to sit! He's still moving slowly and he can't lift anything, but at least he's not trapped in bed anymore!

And that was my week - plenty of excitement, and relief that Dad is feeling better. Until next time: take care!
