Museum and Outdoor Adventure

This week I went to see the orthodontist for the first time. I'm not getting braces for a couple of years, but I am getting braces. Otherwise, we did school at home and I spent some time making my own maps.

Thursday we had an adventure day. We met Jonathan and his mom at the art museum to see some Hmong art, and then we went to a park to play and have lunch. It was actually warm and sunny - not something we have been used to this spring.

Dad and I went to homeschool group on Friday. We talked about Matilda - the book and the movie - and then our craft project was to make an Eiffel Tower out of newspapers. Dad did the project - I was too busy playing hide-and-seek with the other kids.

Friday night Dad took me to Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's house. I was going to stay for the weekend, but he spent the night with me and we ended up going home on Saturday morning. We worked on building the LEGO Detective Office and watched a little baseball for the rest of the weekend.
