This week we had snow, then melted snow and giant puddles.
Fresh snow - playing after I used the snowblower.
Jumping on the pile.
Less than 48 hours later it was mostly water - this is me in the lake at the end of our driveway.
I found out the hard way that Dad was right about there being ice under the water - I slipped and fell and got all wet.
I went to the dentist this week. No cavities. Lots of big teeth waiting to push out the baby teeth - including wisdom teeth.
Getting some x-rays.
Being good so Sarah can get my teeth clean.
Back in the water...but being more careful.
We did a little visiting on the weekend. We stopped to see GG and Grandpa Kevin.
Me with GG and Abby.
And I got to see Indy for the first time since before Christmas! He was already at the dog park when we got there. When we called his name he looked over at us and then came running! He was so excited to see us! I was really sad when we had to say good-bye.
Here's my big buddy!
He's so friendly.
We also saw Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne - and Loki.
Look - it's Grandma and Grandpa in their new house!
I challenged Grandpa to a game of checkers.
And then on Sunday we had some excitement we weren't expecting: someone shot a hole in our window with an Airsoft pellet. Thankfully it only broke one pane of glass. It happened at night - Mom and Dad were watching a movie and thought they heard a noise, but they didn't see anything. The police said about five other people had called in with broken windows all over town Sunday morning, so the idiots who did this were busy.
Here's the hole.
Dad put some tape over the cracks. Hopefully it won't take too long to get it fixed.
This week for school I learned about the Assyrians, Uranus, and some math and grammar and spelling. Daddy and I learned about Connecticut and sperm whales, and we read about Henry David Thoreau. I also did some learning in my free time, watching a lot of Crash Course history videos on YouTube. And we started playing the game Among Us with Kara, Josh, and Freya (all online).
And that was my week. Happy the weather is warmer and baseball is going to be starting up again. Take care!
