We are surviving our time in quarantine. Daddy and I have been going for a walk every day and playing catch in the driveway. We've also been reading, working on math, doing some spelling practice, and playing with LEGO. I have been watching a 10-part documentary about World War II, and Daddy and I finished Ken Burns' Baseball documentary.
Thursday was supposed to be Opening Day for baseball, so we celebrated by going outside for a catch, having veggie dogs for lunch, and watching some of the classic games MLB TV had on offer for their Opening Day at Home event. We watched the end of Justin Verlander's first no-hitter with the Tigers, from 12 June 2007, and the last two innings of Mark Buehrle's perfect game for the White Sox on 23 July 2009. We also watched several innings of the Twins/Tigers 2009 AL Central playoff.
Ballpark food for Opening Day!
Organizing my veggies.
And since there is no new baseball to watch, I started a full-season game of RBI Baseball on my iPad.
Mommy has been slowly recovering from whatever sort of illness she has. We took her to Urgent Care on Tuesday, but there was nothing they could do for her - bloodwork and chest x-ray were clear. Daddy and I are taking care of her, and being careful so we don't get sick, too.
That was my week. Next week I am supposed to start school at home. We'll see how that goes.
I hope you all are safe and well - take care!
