A Full Week

2020-03-08

On Tuesday we had our Kickstarter launch party for Tiny Spoons. Mom and Dad set up in the building where we want to have the shop, and gave away lots of desserts and talked about the business to get people to back the project. I came over after school with Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne to join in the fun. Lots of people came and we had a good first day of the campaign.

Our Kickstarter party.

Of course, I had to go to school the next day. But after school Mommy took me to the art museum to see a new Titanic exhibit.

At school.

My class.

Outside the museum - excited to see the Titanic exhibit.

The rest of the week we were getting ready for our vacation, and on Saturday morning we all got up early and left before 5 AM!

Saturday we drove and drove and drove - all the way to Lexington, Kentucky. Sunday morning we got up to drive to Charleston, South Carolina. Along the way, we drove through a place called Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and saw something unexpected...

We found the Titanic in Tennessee!

Look at this crazy building!

We didn't visit the Titanic museum because it was way too expensive and we needed to be headed east to get to our hotel. We did try to see some more stuff in Tennessee, but there were so many people in Gatlinburg, we got stuck in a traffic jam, and ended up finding a road to just get us out of town and back on our way.

We stopped in Asheville, North Carolina for a snack. Mommy had some hot chicken and Daddy and I had chocolate malts.

Stopped for an afternoon snack.

After that stop we had a long haul to the hotel - which was the nicest hotel we stayed in. It had two bathrooms! One for me and one for Mom and Dad. We got in early enough to relax for a while, which was nice.

And that was my week - pretty busy.
