Birthday Week

This week was my birthday - now I am nine!

Monday and Tuesday were normal days. Wednesday, my birthday, we had Angie and Saywer over for supper and cake. And a light saber battle.

On Thursday Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne came over. They brought me a present I had to find by playing Hot/Cold. But they tricked me - it was always cold.

Grandma stayed Thursday night so she could get me on the bus Friday morning - Mommy and Daddy had to leave for an appointment before the bus would arrive. Grammy was still there when I got home from school, and Grandpa came over to pick her up. We went over to Lucy's house for tacos in the evening.

Saturday morning we went to my birthday party at the train restaurant. We picked out a cake on the way there - it was easy because there was one with a tractor and that was the only one for me.

After lunch and presents and cake, we went to an arcade. We did laser tag, which was really fun, and then I got to play unlimited games for two hours!

After the arcade we went to Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's house. I set up my battleship and aircraft carrier - and all my new planes and army guys. GG and Grandpa Kevin were there too. Mom and Dad went shopping to pick up some things we needed, and then we went home.

Sunday was a quiet day. I played with my new toys, read my new books, and watched cartoons. My friend Rowan came over for a while and that was fun, too.
