This week was the usual school routine, except my glasses broke on Monday and Daddy came to my art class on Thursday - we made rockets out of papier-mache. I didn't have school Friday, so Thursday night Mom and Dad decided to start celebrating my birthday early. We had pizza and Daddy brought home a surprise:
ICE CREAM CAKE! (which we ate after supper)
Happy Birthday to me!
Friday we did a lot: picked out new glasses for me, went to the library, went to Target - where I got some more LEGO - and we saw some friends. And later we ate some ice cream cake.
Trying on some fun glasses - I'm a pilot.
Hanging out with Atticus in the LEGO aisle.
Saturday we stayed in for the day, except for moving the snow that fell overnight. I played with LEGO and watched cartoons for part of the day and we all watched a movie called The Martian about an astronaut who gets stranded on Mars for a long time. It was really good. And we ate some ice cream cake.
Sunday was quiet. Daddy helped me finish some LEGO sets and we tried to clean up the LEGO room a little bit. Daddy and I went to the grocery store. Oh, and I read an entire chapter book all in one day for the first time ever! It was The Magic Treehouse #17: Tonight on the Titanic. After that, we watched some Grizzly and the Lemmings cartoons and...can you guess? Ate some ice cream cake!
Reading my book.
And that was my week. Take care!
