More Christmas

2018-12-31

The last post of the year!

On Christmas Eve I built some LEGO sets - a monster truck and part of my new train, Daddy and I played video games, and we all watched Elf. I also did a little singing.

A little song for Christmas Eve Day.

Christmas morning Daddy and I finished building the locomotive, and Daddy put a motor and battery in it so it will run on the tracks by remote control. I played with it a lot - moving the containers around, running the train back and forth on the tracks.

The Maersk train - the one I got from Mom and Dad.

Mommy and Daddy took me to Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's house for a few days. They went on a little vacation by themselves. I hung out with Loki and Uncle Neil, and went to visit GG and Grandpa Kevin.

On Saturday we went to Dan and Deb's house to eat cookies and open presents.

Waiting to open presents.

Got some cards, too.

LEGO! (imagine that)

More LEGO! (is anyone surprised?)

Here's a video of some present opening excitement.

Mom and Dad were cleaning the house, so I stayed with Grandma and Grandpa again. We went to the dog park. When Mom and Dad came to get me, we stopped at the bookstore on the way home to get some books with all the gift cards I got. I bought two baseball books, a picture book, and a book about all the Star Wars ships. I needed some new books - I have been reading an hour a day every day of my Christmas vacation. Oh, and Mommy managed to find the Dobby, Professor Treylawney, and Mad-Eye Moody figures we were missing from our Harry Potter minifigures.

Back at home, I built a couple of my new LEGO sets, and Daddy and I played our Star Wars video game, and we watched a video of Mommy at Christmas from 1991. I went to bed late, but I did not stay up until midnight.

Thanks again to everyone for all the presents and cards! I am already having a lot of fun with them - and plotting what to do with the money I have saved up.

And hey! That was the week - and the year! Have a happy start to 2019!
