Goodbye, Duke

2018-07-08

This was a sad week for us because we had to say goodbye to Duke. He gets to be with Grandpa Joe and Nakita again. Daddy collected some pictures of Duke, and you can see them here.

That's my buddy, enjoying a nice day on the deck.

Saying goodbye to Duke.

I whispered in his ear that I loved him and I would miss him.

In non-sad news, I tried out my remote control boat I got at a garage sale, I went to the library with Mommy, I made muffins with Mommy and Sawyer, and we spent some time with Angie and her grand-daughter Delilah.

We're going to need a bigger tub...

Building a farm.

Mixing some blueberries into the muffins.

Trying to make Delilah laugh.

On the weekend Daddy and I spent a lot of time playing with LEGO - we built the Holiday Train, a street sweeper and excavator, and some houses from the big buckets of LEGO I keep in my room. We also went for some bike rides: to my school, to Dairy Queen for some ice cream, and all the way around both lakes (with a stop for a donut on the way home).

Lots of things coming up next week - doctor appointments, baseball, and Mommy's birthday!

Take care!
