A Nice Summer Week

This was a nice summer week - even though it was really hot, I got outside, saw some friends, and took a little trip. Not a lot of pictures this week, though. We were too busy having fun.

Picking up from last week, Sawyer spent the night at my house on Sunday, so he was still there Monday morning. We woke up and had breakfast, played with LEGO and other toys, then we rode our bikes to see Daddy on campus. I practiced riding without my training wheels for a little bit, then Daddy went back in to work and Mommy took me and Sawyer to get donuts!

On Tuesday we played with LEGO. Mommy didn't feel good so she stayed home. Daddy and I went out for supper and saw some of my friends from school at the restaurant. On Wednesday Mommy's friend Rachel and her little boy Mason came to see the garden and play with me. On Thursday morning I went to the dentist and got all my teeth cleaned and polished. After lunch, Mommy and I worked at the food shelf.

Friday Mommy went to her job in the Apple City and Daddy went to the library - and I spent the day with Angie and Sawyer! We went swimming! And then we were supposed to go to Kara and Josh's house, but their air conditioner wasn't working, so we decided to just drive to Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's house for the night, and go to Kara and Josh's house on Saturday morning.

Saturday we were up to visit Freya and Kara and Josh and the puppies. We played at the house, then Josh stayed home to meet the air conditioner repairman and the rest of us went to IKEA and the mall. Mommy, Kara, and Freya left after lunch, but Daddy and I stayed at the mall and looked at LEGO and some other stuff, had some ice cream, and then we went on a little adventure to another toy store. After that we went back to Kara and Josh's house for supper. We drove through a crazy rain storm on the way - it was like driving in a car wash!

Sunday morning we went out for breakfast with Freya, then back to the house to watch a movie, then to IKEA to buy Mommy's new couch. Kara and Josh came home at lunch time, and Mommy and Daddy borrowed their van, drove home, unloaded the couch, took our old couch away, and bought a new freezer. Then they came back to Josh and Kara's.

This is the part where I would usually say we went home, but we didn't. Mommy and Kara had something planned for Monday, so we stayed at Kara and Josh's on Sunday night. And you'll hear about the rest of the adventure next week
