EEG and the Cat in the Hat

2016-03-20

This week I had an EEG and I had to stay up all night! Mommy and Daddy barely made it. I was fine except for the ride in the car to the town where the appointment was. Once we were at the restaurant where we had breakfast I perked up.

Watching Thomas and eating ice cream at 2:00 AM.

Waiting to go in for my appointment.

I stayed up all night for this?

Having some celebratory ice cream when all the "fun" was over.

Mommy really likes my hair.

My EEG was fine. The doctor says because I haven't had any seizures for two years we can try taking me off my medication, but if I start having seizures again, I will have to keep taking it.

After all the excitement, we went back to our house. I fell asleep in the car on the way home and stayed asleep for most fo the afternoon. Daddy stayed awake doing stuff around the house and Mommy had to go to campus for some meetings. She was very tired when she got home - but she was happy because the Student Senate passed the measure she's been working on all school year.

The next day I went to school as usual, but when Mommy and Daddy picked me up we went to a different school to register me for kindergarten. I'm in the Class of 2029. Daddy says that makes him feel really old.

Headed in to register.

Waiting to fill out some paperwork.

After the registration we met Angie, Sawyer, and Kyra at Godfather's for supper. And then my friend Aiden and his family came in and sat next to us - so that was a lot of fun.

On Saturday I went to see a play called The Cat in the Hat with Mommy and Sawyer. Then we went out for ice cream and bought some LEGO to play with.

Waiting for the show to start.

People in the play.

Laughing at the play.

The play.

Goofing around with Sawyer after the show.

On the little merry-go-round at the ice cream place.

Sunday we stayed home except to go out for lunch and look for some garden stuff. We played with some LEGO and I watched some cartoons. And that was my week.

Take care, everyone!
