Ice Cream

Mommy was doing better this week than last - almost fully recovered from her surgery and life is mostly back to what passes for normal. Not too many pictures as we have been trying to keep life a little less busy for a few days.

On Thursday Daddy and I went for ice cream after school and then we went to the Eagle Center. On the way home, we stopped to watch a barge and a fishing boat go through the lock and dam.

Mommy and Daddy sent me to Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's for the weekend so they could rest up from all the stress of having Mommy in the hospital. I played with my new mixer truck GG and Grandpa Kevin got me and my crane truck. I also played in my sandbox and watched Frozen a few times. Uncle David came to visit, too.

Daddy came back to get me on Sunday and we went to visit Great-grandma Dorothy in her tower, then Grandpa bought us some ice cream! Twice in one week!

And that would be it, except that as Daddy was packing up my stuff to go home Sunday night, Uncle Neil had a car accident. He's okay. A girl ran a red light and Neil hit the brakes soon enough that his Jeep only hit the rear bumper of the car as it went past. So we didn't get home until really late on Sunday. I fell asleep in Grandma and Grandpa's couch waiting for Daddy to finish helping Neil get home from the accident, and I slept all the way home. Daddy is the one who is still tired.
