On Thursday Mommy had outpatient surgery. She had some trouble recovering, so Daddy was too distracted to take many pictures of me this week. Mommy and Daddy had to make a few trips back to see doctors before Mommy was admitted to the hospital for a couple of days. She is home now and feeling better, so I will spare everyone the blow-by-blow of everything that happened. And I will spare Mommy the indignity of posting the pre-op picture Daddy took for fun since she has had such a rough July.
Since Mommy and Daddy needed help, I spent a lot of time with GG, Grandma Wynne, and Grandpa Al since the surgery. Actually, GG and Grandma Wynne spent more time watching me the past week than Daddy did - he was too busy taking care of Mommy. And of course, when my Grandparents are around I get presents. Lots of presents. I got some cool games and crayons and a coloring book, I got some new LEGO sets, and I got a big cement mixer truck from GG! (That is what is in the yellow wrapping paper).
Here are the few decent pictures we managed to take.
Building with Daddy.
Checking out the box of "Special Oatmeal."
Playing with one of my presents.
Some new LEGO.
Rebuilt train table.
A present? For me?
Let's see what's in it!
That's all for this week. Take care everyone!
P.S. In the middle of all this our air conditioner broke and needs to be replaced. Daddy says owning a house is so much fun.
