This was a big week for everyone.
Daddy tore up the garden.
Just one unripe tomato left (between my feet).
Daddy read a story to my class at his library.
I'm in the back.
Mommy baked: three half-sheets of brownies, made 175 oatmeal creme pie cookies (that would be 350 individual cookies), about 300 cupcakes and two kinds of frosting.
Mommy made (with some help from Auntie Kara): hot salsa (sorry dragons!), french onion dip, spinach dip, cowboy caviar, roasted tomatoes, potato salad, and 300 napkins rolled and tied up with knife/fork/spoon.
All for Natasha and Curt's wedding reception. And that was just the start. They did a lot of other things to get ready, too.
Mommy getting ready to bake.
Examining my apple next to Mommy's pile of food.
Daddy and I practiced the alphabet.
Pictures to help me remember the letters.
Since Mommy and Daddy were doing the wedding, along with Auntie Kara, I went to stay with Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al. I rode my trike and practiced mowing the lawn. I also enjoyed spending time outside in the beautiful fall weather. Great-grandma Dorothy and Auntie Diane came over to see me, and I went to see Uncle David's new house. We watched The Jungle Book and I played my guitar with Grandpa. And GG stopped by to measure me for my Halloween costume - it's going to be awesome!
Getting some use out of my new helmet that used to be Max's.
Don't worry GG - the lawnmower isn't running.
Enjoying an apple on the deck.
Playing a little Johnny Cash with Grandpa.
I came home to a big mess in the kitchen. Mommy and Daddy spent hours doing dishes.
Part of the mess. Maybe less than half.
And I played with my DUPLO before going to bed on Sunday night. I built a tower!
My tower!
And that was enough for one week. See you next time!
