This week was quiet. I went to school, learned some stuff, played with my friends. Mommy finished her summer class two weeks early and got an A - hurray for Mommy!
On Thursday Daddy and I went to Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's for the weekend. Mommy stayed home to clean the house. I wanted to drive, but Daddy wouldn't let me.
C'mon, Papa - I can do it!
We went out for supper with Grandpa Al at Noodles, and then we went to visit Grandma Wynne where she is staying until she is strong enough to go home. Great-grandma Darlene and Aunt Jenn were there, too.
On Friday morning Grandma Gail came to visit. We took some pictures, but we used her new camera, so I don't have any to share. We had lots of fun. We watched Thomas and played with my toys. After I woke up from my afternoon nap, Grandma Wynne was home. Grandpa Al brought her home for the afternoon. Great-grandma Darlene and Jenn came over to visit, too. And Diane and Milton stopped by as well. We had a full house!
Reading with Jenn and Great-grandma Darlene.
Grandpa, Daddy, and I went to visit Great-grandma Dorothy on Saturday morning. I played with the little robot puppy she has.
I also played with a tin train Great-grandma has, but it kept falling apart.
Please fix the train, Great-grandma.
After we saw Great-grandma, Daddy got a haircut. I was supposed to get one too, but I didn't want to sit still. Some goofy guy kept putting trying to get at my hair with a comb and scissors!
Daddy brought Grandma Wynne back to the house while I was napping after lunch, and I got to ride in the wheelie chair!
Then we took some pictures to wish our friend Ammara a happy birthday. Daddy didn't think I was very cooperative holding up the sign.
Sunday morning we went home - after stopping to see Grandma Wynne again. We surprised her because she thought we were going straight home from her house.
When we got home, I played with all the toys I missed so much, Mommy unpacked all of the stuff we brought home, and Daddy mowed the lawn. I watched him mow from the windows. After Daddy unpacked his bag, I stowed away inside it.
Shhh! Don't tell Daddy where I am!
I think Daddy figured out where I am....
Mommy and I played in the afternoon and took Duke for a walk. Daddy went to see a movie. When he came home, he made me put away all my toys. Then he read me some stories and put me to bed.
And that was my week. Hope everyone is doing well - see you next week!
