I didn't have a lot of excitement this week. Other people got a lot of snow, but only a few inches fell at my house.
Daddy and I went to Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's for the weekend to help out - Grandma still has a broken wrist and broken knee, in case you forgot from last week. Mommy stayed home to study for finals and bake cupcakes (red velvet, angel food, and lemon curd, if you're keeping score at home).
Grandma Wynne is going to have surgery on her wrist on Monday and her knee on Wednesday. Daddy and I helped Uncle Neil take care of her this weekend. Mostly we watched westerns on the television. And I got to ride in both of Grandpa's trucks - the red one on Friday and the blue one on Sunday!
Hanging out with Grandma Wynne.
I did play with a dog (please don't tell Duke).
Sit. Good dog.
Heel.
Let's go, lil' pup.
And Grandpa and I looked at truck magazines.
Looking at articulated haulers with Grandpa Al.
I got tired but refused to take a nap.
Sleepy.
And I had some visitors - well, they came to see Grandma, too. Diane came on Saturday, and so did David (but he left before I got up from my nap). On Sunday, David brought Great-grandma Dorothy and Billy over to see me. I had fun entertaining them.
Finishing supper.
That's all for this week. Next week I get to stay with Auntie Kara and Uncle Josh and I hear they have a lot of fun stuff planned. I can't wait to see what happens!
