Building Towers

2013-02-03

I wasn't sick at all this week and I didn't have any doctor appointments - I can't remember the last time that happened.

I built a lot of LEGO towers this week. Mommy and Daddy both helped me build one that went to the ceiling! The picture is of the tower I built with Mommy.

"Controlled" demolition of the tower.

Surveying the aftermath.

This weekend I ate breakfast in my own chair at my own table. I even had a table cloth.

Daddy and I went shopping on Saturday so I could get some toys with my birthday money. We went to Target and bought a lot of new LEGO bricks for me. I picked out another tub of bricks, a farm set that has a tractor and a chicken, and a train set that has numbered bricks. Then we bought a cool puzzle that has six different kinds of latches on it. We also bought some groceries and went out for supper. I had a whole bowl of Mac & Cheese. Even Daddy was impressed with how much I ate. And with how little I spilled - only one noodle landed on the ground. (Sorry - no pictures: Daddy had his hands full watching me on his own). I didn't get to play with my toys right away because I had to go to bed as soon as we arrived home. It's okay though, I was really tired.

On Saturday night, Mommy and Daddy had friends over to play games. Mommy made treats for everyone: lemon cupcakes and mini pecan cheesecakes (like the one's she made for Jenna's wedding).

Sunday morning Mommy and Daddy gave me my new toys to play with! They missed taking pictures of the really excited faces I made, but I assure you I was very happy to see my toys again. And thank you! Thank you! Thank you! again to all the generous people who are helping finance my LEGO collection (and later this month helping me renew my membership at the children's museum).

And my new tub of bricks!

That's all the pictures for now - other than yesterday I just went to school and played at home. Which was nice after all the excitement of the past couple of months.

Before I go, I want to say Happy Birthday to cousin Michael (day late)! And Happy Anniversary to Great-grandma Muriel and Great-grandpa Les (a few days late)! You have been married a long time - I'd say I can't even count that high. Actually, I can't count at all yet, but you know what I mean. I hope you all had fun on your special days.

Take care, everyone. See you next week.
