#100 - and Christmas #2, #3, #4

2012-12-30

Hello everyone: Welcome to post #100!

This is a triple-sized post to make up for missing last week, and it's going to cover Christmases #2-4 and everything in between. Let's get started.

First up, some pictures from my first semester at school.

Hanging out on the playground.

Digging out my pumpkin with Kellie.

Outside, looking for some fun.

Having a snack.

I'm Batman. She's Kellie.

Out in the snow.

I love snow.

And I have one picture of me and Daddy playing LEGO from before the holidays.

Building another house.

Christmas #2 was at Great-grandma Darlene's house on Christmas Eve. I wore my tux.

Why am I the only one in formal wear again?

Waiting to open presents.

No shirt? It was that kind of party.

I got a puppy for Christmas! I hope Duke won't be jealous.

Since I didn't take a nap during the day, I was getting pretty worn out by the time all the presents were open, so we headed home early. Well, early for everyone else.

Christmas #3 was at Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's on Christmas Day. Mommy made everyone pancakes for breakfast, and Grandma Gail and Grandpa Kevin came over to eat and open presents.

The table, waiting for food.

Our stockings set out.

Blueberry pancakes! Grandma and Grandpa like them too!

Okay, I'll wear my paper crown like everyone else.

Everybody but Mommy (she's taking the picture).

Mommy, stop taking pictures and eat!

Mommy.

Me with Grandpa Kevin and Grandma Gail.

Playing on the floor.

Grandpa Al - just before he had to go to work.

Here's my new easel and Uncle Neil.

I got some paper off!

I think I'm finally getting the hang of this "present" thing.

I got it!

Now I'm Batman disguised as Superman.

A new puzzle!

A music maker!

Happy Superman.

Another present?

Oh boy!

A dump truck!

More LEGO!

Mommy says this will be our Christmas card next year. If we remember to do a Christmas card.

Super-Duke.

Grandpa Kevin and Grandma Gail with my vintage Tickle Me Elmo (Thanks Great-grandma Muriel!).

That tickles!

Squeeze him like this so he talks.

Uncle Neil says this is an eraser.

Me and Daddy and Duke.

Grandma Gail reading me a story.

Hiding in my toy box.

On Thursday, Great-grandma Darlene and Aunt Jenn came to visit for the afternoon.

Everybody watching me play.

On Friday, Daddy and I went to see Great-grandma Dorothy.

This is a cool train, Great-grandma.

Christmas #4 was at Uncle Dan and Aunt Deb's house.

Visiting with Uncle David.

Yes. I wore my tux again. Grandpa Al insisted.

Talking to Auntie Diane.

I must have had something in my eye.

Did someone say "presents"?

Whoo-hoo! Presents!

I know what to do - rip the paper off!

I'm not going to let you play with my new truck. Sorry, dude.

Wow.

Me with Brady.

Talking to Aunt Janice.

Uncle John took the rest of the pictures. Daddy was too busy eating cookies and chasing me.

Looking at the table.

Listening to someone tell a story.

Still listening....

Me with Great-grandma Dorothy.

Another picture?

Do you need help opening that, Grandpa?

Here, I can help with that Janice.

More presents to open!

Just checking how I look in black and white.

I love opening presents!

This is a fun card!

Great-grandma Dorothy with my new friend Ted.

Ready to test drive my new truck.

Showing my new truck to Grandpa Al (he's behind the tree).

Uh...Katie? I'm not a baby anymore. I can sit up.

Catching my breath with Grandpa and Daddy.

Whew! That was a lot of pictures!

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! To everyone at all four Christmases for my presents! I promise to play with all my toys and puzzles all the time! And Daddy says I have to put all my money in the bank. So I will. For now.

Happy New Year to everyone! See you soon!
