Christmas #1

2012-12-11

This year I get to have four Christmas parties!

Before we get to the first one, I have to tell you all that I went to the dentist for the first time last week.

Hmmm...what's behind this door?

WAAAAAH! I wouldn't have gone through that door if I knew this was waiting for me!

Daddy! Why didn't you warn me?

Bundled up.

On Saturday we had Christmas at Kara and Josh's house. Grandma Gail and Grandpa Kevin were there, and so were Aunt Nancy and Great-grandpa Les and Great-grandma Muriel. Oh, and Mommy and Daddy came too.

Wearing my Christmas hat.

Getting ready to open presents.

Fake food!

Apple.

Oooh! Pots and pans!

Look at my frying pan everybody!

Some of my kitchenware haul.

Grandma and Grandpa. And Max and Abby.

Those look like more LEGO, Dad.

Is that what I think it is?

Resting with Uncle Josh.

Is there something behind the sheet for me?

A kitchen! I'm excited - but I think Mommy is more excited.

Checking out the kitchen while Grandpa and Great-grandpa watch from the doorway.

After presents we went to a Christmas pageant and watched some kids sing songs. It was lots of fun. I liked the lights and the songs and the dancing.

The next morning, we went back for a second performance, but this time we were working at setting up refreshments for the reception afterward. Well, Mommy and Kara and Josh worked at that. Daddy chased me around the building.

Getting a drink.

There was this real scary dude at the reception. Mommy and Daddy thought I would like him but I didn't. No, sir.

Apparently this happens all the time.

After we were done working we went out to lunch. And then we were supposed to go home, but the weather was bad, the roads were bad, and I was making dirty diapers more often than usual - so we stayed at Auntie Kara and Uncle Josh's house for another night.

And that was it for last week. Thanks again to everyone for the presents. I love my new kitchen! And tell that Santa guy to stay away from me.

See you next week!
