Meeting New People

2012-09-17

This week I made it through a whole week of school!

Mommy has been working really hard to get all the garage sale stuff priced. Hopefully people buy all of our stuff at the sale this weekend.

This past weekend I went to see Great-grandma Darlene. She was having everyone over because Uncle Todd and his family came to visit. This was my first time meeting Todd and LuzMaria and Brandon because they haven't been here since I was born.

Here I am with (right to left) Todd, LuzMaria, and Brandon...

Picture time!

Okay, this time I'll be serious.

And here I am with Clint...

Me with Clint.

I had a lot of fun playing at Great-grandma's with Vincent, Yulia, Gunnar, and Max. Daddy didn't get any good pictures, though - they were all blurry. But we had a good time and only got scolded a little bit.

I was really tired when Daddy got me home. But I was ready to go again the next day. In the morning Daddy and I went to see Great-grandma Dorothy. Auntie Diane and Uncle David came over while we were there, so I was able to see them, too. David got me a cool new red semi that has a trailer for a race car!

Daddy really wanted me to sit in Great-grandma's lap so he wouldn't have to keep chasing me around the house, but there are so many things to see and touch at her house I couldn't sit still for very long.

In the afternoon I went to see Great-grandma Darlene and everyone else again. I played with the other kids and ran around outside while Grandpa Al chased me. It was fun. Better than listening to all those grown-ups talk talk talk all afternoon.

Here's me with all the other kids except Vincent:

Me, Yulia, Max, and Gunnar.

That's about all for the weekend. Daddy and I arrived home late on Sunday and I went right to bed (with just a little fussing). Duke is staying with Grandma and Grandpa for the week so he won't be in the way for the garage sale, and the house feels empty without him.

I should have some more pictures from this weekend next week. I didn't get any of the group photos because Daddy was too busy holding me to run the camera. Once some of the other photographers send me pictures (hint, hint) I will post some group photos of all the people who came to Great-grandma's.

That's all for now - have a great week! I'm looking forward to seeing Grandma Gail and Auntie Kara when they come to help Mommy!
