Mommy's Home!

Mommy came home this week! I really missed my Mommy. I told her not to go away for so long again. Daddy missed her, too.

Daddy went to pick Mommy and Auntie Kara up at the airport without me because I was still sick. But I woke up when Mommy got to Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne's house, so I got to see her Monday night. I got to show her how much I am walking now - I hardly even crawl anymore, unless I am playing with my trucks.

On Tuesday I was really sick, totally congested, hard to breathe, didn't want to eat. Mommy and Daddy took turns taking care of me all day. And Wednesday was the same, so I went to see a nice doctor who said I'll just have to put up with it since there was nothing he could give me to help - and then I started to get better the next day so it wasn't a big deal.

On Thursday and Friday I played with Mommy and went for walks with Daddy and Duke.

On Saturday I went back to Grandma Wynne's so Daddy could finish up the spring cleaning he started while we were staying there. We came home in the afternoon and went for a walk with Duke before the rain started.

On Sunday, Mommy made us pancakes for breakfast! And then we all went for a walk. We also went shopping for food. I took a two-hour nap, and so did Mommy. Daddy worked on his motorcycle.

We were supposed to get some bad weather this afternoon, but it didn't happen. The wind blew pretty hard, though. Mommy and Daddy are keeping an eye on the weather and we are ready to hide in the basement if necessary.
