This is the State Fair supplement to the blog for August 29. While I was staying with Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al, Mommy and Daddy were at the State Fair with Auntie Kara and Uncle Josh.
This year they all hit the midway early, and Mommy and Daddy both scored 260 on skee ball and won the big prize! They picked these giant gorillas.

And about five minutes after Daddy won his, these two boys came along and asked where Mommy and Daddy got them. They were very surprised when Mommy and Daddy just handed them over.

And what kind of fair would it be without pictures of fair food?
Uncle Josh trying to eat deep-fried cookie dough. It did not live up to its promise.
Daddy's messy french fry fingers. And that is a jumbo cup of 1919 root beer in his other hand.
Later in the day Mommy got to spin a wheel in horticulture building and she won again! This time she got a smaller prize.

Hopefully I will get to go next year!
