Lots of excitement this week - we went to the farm!
Before we did that, I enjoyed the cooler weather after weeks of oppressive heat and humidity.
Hanging out with Duke in the yard.
I've been doing much better eating solid food. Mommy and Daddy are happy they aren't just smearing it on my face. This week Daddy let me have a taste of the orange he was eating for breakfast.
My first orange.
I slept a lot on the way to the farm - and it is a long way to get there. Mommy enjoyed riding in the minivan because she could sit where she could see me. We took a more scenic route than the Interstate and saw some interesting things along the way.
Snack break on the way to Jenn and Bob's.
We saw this tracked Tracker on the road - Grandpa Kevin should do this to his Tracker!
We were tired when we finally arrived at Bob and Jenn's house, so we didn't get any pictures of the arrival. But don't worry, we took plenty of pictures while we were there.
Relaxing with Bob on Saturday morning.
Me and Grandma Darlene.
Daddy hadn't been up to the farm for a long time, and me and Mommy had never been there, so Bob and Jenn gave us a tour. It took a long time - Bob and his brother Jim farm a lot of land, and they have a lot of machinery.
Me and Daddy on one of the combines. Bob and Jim have two.
Me and Mommy in the combine.
Mommy before she went for a ride.
Me and Daddy, with the river in the background.
Bob knows how to play "Pull My Finger" too! I thought that was Daddy's game.
Me and Daddy in one of the tractors. I'm on the buddy seat. Daddy said there were no buddy seats when he was little, so he had to sit on an upside-down five-gallon pail.
Me with Bob, Jenn, Daddy, and Pooh Bear!
That's a big wheel, Daddy.
Daddy! Daddy! Bob said I can drive it!
Outta my way! Coming through!
Sitting in the 1949 Chevy pick-up Daddy learned to drive with.
I really like tractors and trucks...but I'm getting tired.
Daddy, me, Jim, Michael, and Bob.
That's it for part one. Stay tuned for part two tomorrow.
