Thanksgiving Break

2024-12-01

I was at Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al's for the first part of the week. I went to the dog park, and I hung out with GG and Grandpa Kevin. I also met Jonthan and his family at Bricks and Minifigs on Monday.

At the brick pit with Jonathan.

While I was away, Mom and Dad did all the Christmas shopping, and Mom did all the Christmas wrapping.

Dad got some LEGO from me and Mom.

Some packages arrived while I was gone.

The house down the street all lit up - it's definitely Christmas.

Mom was busy - all the presents wrapped!

On Friday, Dad came to get me. He surprised me with a trip to Bricks and Minifigs on the way home. Rob was there, and he let us check out the back room full of all the stuff that wasn't ready to go out yet. I picked out a V-wing and Anakin's Jedi interceptor.

Me and Grandma Wynne when Dad came to pick me up.

Checking out the back room at Bricks and Minifigs.

Back home, it was time to decorate for Christmas. We watched Christmas Vacation while we built the tree.

Here's the top - I can reach this year!

Time for the star!

Time for the squirrel! (in the movie, too!)

Happy family - all done!

Not sure what happened here, but it looks cool.

And now for some new LEGO pictures...

Gandalf the Grey facing down Saruman - a new addition to my medieval display.

The Vikings landing at L'Anse aux Meadows.

The Vikings arrived in North America 491 years before Columbus.

The clones have landed.

Count Dooku and the Droids.

In addition to watching Christmas Vacation this week, we also watched Uncle Buck, You Can't Take It With You, and The Rookie (the baseball one with Dennis Quaid - not Clint Eastwood). All great movies?

And that was my week. Until next time - take care!
