An Odd and Sad Week

2024-03-24

The nice weather left us and the cold returned. And then we had snow again. And then rain. It was an odd week. School went well, and Mom has been working on getting ready for next year - planning all the things we are going to be doing. We had Recess twice, once by Jonathan's house, and once at the lake. We skipped Thursday and I went to visit my grandparents a day early to avoid anyone having to drive in the snowstorm on Friday.

Playing with my new toy - a water pik.

Mom is making labels for next year's curriculum.

Getting a tour of Jonathan's neighborhood.

Jonathan made his own R2-D2.

Jonathan explains all the details he has built in so far.

Jessica and Caroline bundled up for Recess.

More play with the Eldorado Fortress.

Of course, I went to the dog park while I was away for the weekend. Here are some pictures of my furry friends.

Birdie and Ivy.

Moonlight.

Loki really looks like a wolf.

Birdie, Indy, Ivy, Loki (boy), Loki (girl), and Archie.

I can pick up Archie!

Moonlight again.

I helped out by shoveling some of the snow. And I built some LEGO. Jonathan made his R2-D2 out of cardboard, but I got Grandpa Al to buy me a LEGO one.

Doing a little work.

My R2-D2 - much smaller than Jonathan's.

Watching Clone Wars with R2-D2.

That was the good part of my week. The sad part was that GG and Grandpa Kevin had to take Max, aka Barker, aka The Little General, to the vet to say goodbye. I am still sad and I miss the little guy.

I don't have a lot of good pictures with Max, but here are a couple I found.

That's all for this week. Take care.
