Puppy and LEGO Adventure

2024-03-03

Not much happening during the week, other than school and Recess. Dad and I did get our bikes out and get them ready to ride again. The tires needed air and my seat needed to be raised about six inches. I also had a LEGO delivery - just one minifigure, but it was Hondo!

Time to ride.

My Hondo Ohnaka minifigure.

A nice day for Recess.

Saturday morning Dad and I drove up to Freya's house to see the foster dog they have right now, Emmy Lou.

From Freya's house we went to Bricks and Minifigs. I talked with some of the guys working there about LEGO - Ryan knew a lot about Star Wars and Elijah knew a lot about Ninjago. I bought a couple of minifigs, a Hailfire droid, and a unique build that combined two of the Imperial Marauders from the Mandolorian. What is really funny is that we went to the other Bricks and Minifigs in the area right after we were done at the first one...and we ended up meeting the guy who had built the Marauder! He was shopping at the other store! I managed to get a Cad Bane from Star Wars and a Gibbs from Pirates of the Caribbean from the second store. Dad didn't take a lot of pictures because the stores were busy.

Trying to decide what to add to the collection.

This would look great with our modular buildings...if only we had room for it....

We drove home from the second Bricks and Minifigs and then Dad and I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail when we got home.

Sunday we did some cleaning and I worked on incorporating my new LEGO into my displays. And after lunch Jonathan and his family came over. It was really nice out, so the adults sat outside and talked. Jonathan and I looked at LEGO for a little bit, but mostly we played video games and talked. It was a lot of fun.

After our guests left, I decided I wanted to watch The Life of Brian again, so we did.

And that was my week - take care!
