Snow!

2023-02-26

Lots of snow this week - but not as much as we were supposed to get. We had about 12 inches, but the news said were going to get double that. I helped Dad move it off the driveway and sidewalk, and I even used the big snowblower a little bit (no pictures because Dad was helping me).

I started working on a battle scene with my big castle and my Viking ship.

We did recess on Tuesday and went sledding. The other days were too snowy and icy.

Sledding on fresh snow is a little different.

Showing Jonathan and Caroline some pictures of my battle scene.

This past week went to the library with Dad to do learning a couple of times. It's a little more inconvenient than doing school at home, but it is much easier to focus. On Friday I went to the homeschool gym class the university offers - which was a lot of fun. I met some other kids who really like playing Breath of the Wild.

Most of the time I was too far away from Mom for her to get a good picture, so this is it from gym class.

After gym class we went home and had lunch and then Grandpa Al, Grandma Wynne, Uncle Neil, and Loki all came over. I went home with them for the weekend.

Dad was talking to Neil about putting some carpet on our basement steps.

Ready to go.

While I was away I shoveled for Grandpa Al since his back was hurting. And I went to GG and Grandpa Kevin's for the afternoon on Saturday.

On Sunday we went to visit Dan and Deb - and they had a new puppy! His name is Rex. He has very sharp teeth and likes to chew on everything - but he's so cute! In the afternoon I went to see more dogs at the dog park.

And that was my week! Take care!
