This week we did school, LEGO Club, Recess, a Cemetery Walk, and built a new police station out of LEGO.
LEGO Club was in a new place this week, right by a baseball field. I did some running around the bases before the other kids arrived.
Celebrating my home run.
Waiting with Hugo for the other kids to arrive.
We also did Recess - three more days of glorious fall weather!
The slide where I broke my leg last year.
Dad found a soccer ball by the train tracks and donated it to the Recess collection.
At Recess.
On Thursday we did a Cemetery Walk with a lot of the other homeschool people we know - you'll see Jonathan in the pictures if you look. It was really fun, although I would probably wear pants if I had it to do over again - it was a little chilly for shorts.
At the cemetery walk.
I have a question.
Having fun.
The leaves are turning. Dad got this picture of the tree right outside the window by his desk.
Definitely looking like fall around here.
On Friday we went to campus for Homeschool PE. This is a similar program to the one where I had swimming lessons several years ago. The students in education classes need some experience working with kids, so we get to have some time in the big gym at the university to help the students out.
Carb-loading before Homeschool PE on campus.
No a lot of opportunity for pictures here - I am in the red shorts.
We stayed home this weekend, as Grandpa Al and Grandma Wynne are recovering from COVID. Dad and I worked on LEGO projects. We combined my two police sets, plus some other pieces, into a really big police station that can connect to out modular buildings. It was fun - and I am so excited to play with it.
My new police station!
And that was my week. Take care!
