Party Time

2022-07-17

Monday was Mom's birthday and we went to a party at Carol's house. Everyone was given a food item and instructed to make something out of it, with prizes for the most transformed dish and the best tasting. Mom turned a box of noodles into brownies, so she won for the most transformed. I spent most of my time visiting with Bruno and Joe, talking about history and Star Wars.

Mom with Susie and Blandine - and the Goat.

Daddy and Joe talking bikes with Kevin. Oh, and a nice sunset.

Me and Joey.

Me and Bruno - we talked history for a long time.

Me with Susie - who helped deliver me.

Me with Carol.

I also went to LEGO Club this week. It was at a different park, one with a spash pad - so I got wet.

GG came on Wednesday - she brought cheesecake for Mom's birthday! We also went out for lunch.

Dad and I have been watching le Tour de France all week. I like watching the racing, but I am much more interested when the broadcast shows the chateaus and castles and other old buildings.

Friday Dad had a colonoscopy. No problems, but he was really tired and actually took a nap!

Daddy after his colonoscopy - he was really out of it.

Saturday we watched the Tour again, and we met Anthony and his family for a picnic lunch. We also went to the park and then over to their house to escape the heat.

We also watched the Tour on Sunday. I was excited because the stage ended in Carcassone and it was really cool to see all the helicopter shots of the walled city.

And that was my week. Take care!
