First, a picture that did not make it into the blog last week: On the Sunday night I stayed at Freya's, we redecorated the Christmas tree.

As I mentioned last time, on Monday I came home. We didn't do much on Tuesday and Wednesday, and on Thursday afternoon Freya, Kara, and Josh came down to stay with us for New Year's. We played games, we had another prize ball, we made a snow mountain, and Mom made more yummy food than any of us could eat. I didn't get to stay up late on New Year's Eve, but it was still a fun end to the year. You might notice I am still wearing the awesome jammies I got from Kara and Josh.

And then "Hello to 2022!" After Freya, Kara, and Josh left on Saturday, we had lunch and then went to see Grandma Wynne and Grandpa Al. We had not seen them for Christmas yet, so I had a few more presents to open from them and my aunts and uncles on that side of the family. It was very quiet compared to Nancy's party, since it was just the six of us (Neil was there, too) and Loki. I got some cool new books, some new LEGO sets, and some cash that I am already itching to spend (not the best pictures - I was so excited most of the shots Dad got were blurry).
Time for more presents!
Hmmm...what could this be?
It's a trick!
My second castle set!
Dinosaurs!
Geography quiz book.
One of two Star Trek books - the other one is all about the spaceships.
Playing with Loki - hiding her treat.
We headed home as it was getting dark. Sunday we spent at the house, just relaxing. I worked on my first castle set (I got two of them, remember), and we played some games on the new XBOX. A nice, quiet day.
Thanks to everyone for the presents! I am excited to build my LEGO, read my books, and spend my money!
